Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pinda is Arnel Pinda is a Filipino musician and singer from the Philippines. He made his name in the Philippines in the 1890s and after that, internationally, in 2007 when he became the lead singer of American rock group Journey. Arnel is 54 years old in 2021, he was born Arnel Campaner Pineda, on September 5 1967, in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. He is a birthday celebrant on the 5th of September every year. Arnel will be 55 years old by September 5 in 2022, and his zodiac sign of birth is Virgo. Arnel has an average height of 5'4 inches (164 centimeters). After his mother's death, his family was in debt. His father, who was six months behind in rent payment and unable financially to support his family, pleaded with his relatives to adopt Arnel. Arnel became aware of the severity of his father's condition , and decided to quit school to do something to help. Arnel was born in St. Jude Thaddeus Diagnostic Clinic located in Tondo, Manila, the Philippines to Restituto Lising Pineda and Josefina Manansala Campaner. Arnel was taught by his mom to sing when it was still a child. The family entered him in several singing contests. Arnel’s mother died of heart disease when she was 13. After the death of his mother his family was left in debt. His father was behind six months in rent payments and was consequently unable to ensure his family had a source of income. Thus, his father sought out his relatives to assist Arnel. Arnel has three siblings: Roderick Pineda, Joselito Pineda, and Russmon Pineda. Arnel realized the severity of his situation and decided to leave school to help relieve his father's burden. Arnel spent nearly two decades on the streets, sleeping whenever he could. He was a salesman for newspapers, glass bottles as well as scrap metals, to recyclers. Arnel also did odd jobs such as cleaning scrap metal or docking ships. Cherry Pineda and Arnel are married. They were married in 2001. The couple had two children: a daughter named Thea Chenelle Pineda and a son named Cherub. Arnel has two other children: Matthew and Angelo.
