Britney Jean Spears
Britney Jean Spears was born on the 2nd
of December, 1981 in McComb, Mississippi & raised in Kentwood,
Louisiana. Britney had dance lessons as a youngster and was a superb gymnast,
winning many contests. Britney loves to sing and dance, but more importantly,
she was in love with dancing classes. Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey
Mouse Club (1989) at the age of 8. She was denied due to her young age. Britney
was later recommended to the off-Broadway musical "Ruthless" in which
she performed the lead role for two years. At the age of 11, she auditioned for
The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989). The second time, she was an emoji-eer,
along with other stars of today, Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez (*NSYNC) and
Ryan Gosling. But her most significant break came in the late 1990s when she
was signed as a Jive Recording artist. Britney's debut album, "...Baby,
was released in 1999. Britney also sold 9 million copies (as in July 1, 2001)
of her follow-up album "Oops !...I Do It Again" which was released
May 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears. She has a
big brother Bryan Spears and a little sister Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney was
destined to be a star from a young age. Britney loved singing and was inspired
by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Britney was a candidate for The All New
Mickey Mouse Club (1989-1994) when she was eight. However she was not old
enough to be considered a suitable candidate. Britney and her infant sister,
Britney, moved to New York, where she played in a variety of TV commercials as
well as in an off Broadway show called "Ruthless" with the guidance
of Natalie Portman. She discovered her love for dance and music 2 years later,
when she was auditioning again for "Mickey Mouse", winning the part
with Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.
